Road cycling

Road Cycling is known as a very demanding sport, developed on asphalt roads, with a high competitive level where athletes play everything to reach the goal, including blocking the opponent's path, for which it requires a lot of technique and skill. Cyclists must have skills that allow them to overcome the problems that may arise in the race.

This discipline is part of the Olympic Games since 1896 in the male category, while the female category was only introduced until the 1984 Los Angeles Games.
 
Among the types of tests is the individual route that consists of the start at the same time of the cyclists, who must complete different distances and races; and the individual time trial, where competitors must travel circuits of 40 kilometers, in the case of men, while for women the distance is 20 kilometers.
